Nganju means the head of the family, and inspired by George’s late grandfather. A highly skilled and influential man, Jean Fochive was notorious for his dominant demeanor and political status. George focused on capturing the beauty in the eyes and lips placing intricate elements in the facial features for additional dimension. The silenced mouth shows the controversy surrounding his death that was sudden due to political controversy in Cameroon, but despite the past he chose to ultimately capture the power in the beauty that remains.
